Christmas 2012

Christmas this year was great!  The best part was the Advent Conspiracy program we did at church.  ARISE focused on celebrating Christmas with more time, hand made gifts, and meaningful presents instead of shopping and buying.  The money saved was then sent to The Raining Season to cover the cost of saving some kids from the streets of Sierra Leone and giving them a place in the child care facility.  $500 covered one kid.  It was great watching everyone use their gifts and talents to raise money and enjoy each other.

Our kids made a lot of gifts for each other. It was fun watching them get creative and watching their siblings open their handmade treasures. So here is our Christmas 2012 photo blog...
